How Does HIFU Work?
HIFU is a precisely controlled, micro-focused ultrasound energy that revitalizes the three important levels of the infrastructure of the skin, with no pain or downtime.
It uses deep dermal micro-heating and contraction for multi-layered lifting, tightening and contouring, whilst promoting maximum collagen rejuvenation.
Results can often be seen immediately post-treatment and improves as your bodies' collagen production increases in the 6-12 weeks post-treatment, resulting in a tighter, more contoured look that can last over 12 months.

What to expect during and after your treatment?
HIFU - High Intensity Focused Ultrasound is non-invasive cosmetic procedure with minimal side effects. However, it’s quite normal to experience the following:
Day of treatment:
We asked that you arrive with a clean face, and be well hydrated. If receiving a HIFU Face treatment please wear a low neck line.
Before Photos will be taken (these are kept on your profile with us to monitor results)
The Dermal Clinician will prepare your skin with numbing cream (this is optional).
The area treated will be mapped out for treatment and ultrasound gel applied.
HIFU will be applied at specific tailored depths to suit each individuals needs. This can take between 1 hour - 2 hours.
Day 1
A flushed / pink appearance is normal. Your skin may feel tight, or sensitive to touch. Treat the skin gently by washing it with a gentle cleanser, cool water.
Some redness may also be present and in some rare cases, patients may experience slight bruising that can last for 5-7 days and temporary swelling for 2-4 days. Swelling is very mild. Most describe the swelling as a "plump lift".
Tips

Avoid heat, such as jacuzzis, saunas, and steam baths for up to 48 hours.

Use only mineral makeup if necessary and gentle cosmetics.

Avoid AHA's, BHA's and active facial ingredients.
Day 2- 3
You may start your regular skin care products again. Most of our patients have noticed continued skin improvement over the months following their treatment.
For best results: We recommend a mini follow-up treatment 12 weeks post initial treatment.
Once desired outcome is achieved, maintenance treatments are recommended once every 12 months.

EyeREVIVE Pro Package
An innovative eye rejuvenation procedure incorporating both HIFU and Micro Crystal Fractional (RF) Radio Frequency Microneedling, infused with platinum eyelift serum to address lines & wrinkles, tighten skin around the eyes, forehead and eyelids, diminish dark circles, and reduce puffiness around the eyes.

Post treatment skincare
There is no down time with this procedure. Patients can expect mild redness and sensitivity post treatment for approximately 12-24 hours.
Please avoid use of active ingredients and apply provided skin care for 72 hours post treatment. Can then resume all normal activities/routines.
Afterpay & Zippay available
HIFU Initial Consultation includes Medical History, Skin Assessment, Process of procedure, Skin preparation (before and after care) and test patch. $50 fee is deducted from total treatment costs upon booking treatment.
