What kind of outcomes should I expect?
Based on a recent survey, 91.3% of Liposonix patients observed enhanced abdominal flatness, tone, and contour following a single treatment. On average, a one-hour session led to a reduction of 2.5cms (one inch) in waistline size, equivalent to a dress or pant size. Results are commonly noticeable within 6-12 weeks, aligning with the natural body process of eliminating the treated fat tissue.

Is Liposonic right for me ?
The ideal way to know if you're a suitable candidate is to come in for a consultation. Generally, having around 2.5 centimetres (one inch) of fat thickness in the treatment area—like the abdomen, hips, or outer thighs—is recommended. Good overall health with a BMI of 30 or lower is important, and it's essential to have realistic expectations about the results.

What to expect during and after your treatment?
What is the process of the treatment?
Liposonix employs high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) technology to specifically target and eliminate fat deposits. This treatment focuses on fat cells beneath the skin using energy waves, while ensuring the skin, tissues, and muscles are unaffected.
Throughout the approximately one-hour procedure, your therapist moves the Liposonix system's head across the treatment area.
Some individuals may feel minor sensations like cold, tingling, or warmth during the procedure. Following the treatment, mild discomfort, bruising, redness, or swelling may occur.
HIFU - High Intensity Focused Ultrasound is non-invasive cosmetic procedure with minimal side effects. However, it’s quite normal to experience the following:
Day of treatment:
Please be well hydrated in the week leading to your treatment.
Please wear appropriate loose clothing for easy to exposure to the body region being treated.
The appointment will begin with a Consultation of your medical history and treatment plan.
The region will be measured and before photos will be taken (these are kept on your profile with us to monitor results)
The Dermal Clinician will prepare your skin. The area treated will be mapped out for treatment and ultrasound gel applied.
HIFU will be applied at specific tailored depths to suit each individuals needs body treatments between 4.5mm-16mm depth. 3 Depths are applied. This can take between 1 hour - 2 hours depending on the size of the body region.
Immediately post treatment the area treated maybe a light flushed / pink appearance is normal, this will subside within an hour or so post treatment. There is no down time.
Post Treatment Care:
Avoid excessive heat to the treatment area i.e. sauna/spa, warm shower.
If exposed to the sun, please apply UVA/UVB Sunscreen.
Continue Hydration recommendation of 2ltrs water daily for 2 weeks post treatment to assist the lymphatic system to excrete waste/fat cells.
Best results are achieved with a balanced healthy diet high in protein, healthy fats and plenty of vegetables.
There is NO DOWN TIME with HIFU Fat Cavitation & body skin tightening treatments.
Subsequent Treatments:
For HIFU and Tesla EMS Body Sculpt packages we recommend a 30 minute EMS Body Sculpt session immediately following HIFU to expedite fat loss results. Tesla EMS Body Sculpt sessions can be booked 2-3 days apart. Subsequent HIFU Body Treatments are recommended 4-6 weeks apart.
